After lying to Allison and Jason about not knowing about Charles, Kenneth (their Dad) must come clean however vaguely about the DiLaurentis' connection to the little boy in the photos in previous episodes. Charlie? Charles? He won't give many details about the boys past but says enough to give the girls a clue of where to look for the missing pieces about Charles. None other then Radley Sanitarium. But with Radley being shut down and patient files being shipped out to get shredded the girls must act fast before all traces of Charles' past are gone forever. Meanwhile Caleb's protectiveness starts to annoy Hanna and Spencer seeks out a way to remedy her insomnia issues.

Back at the weird Fields' house where Mrs Fields tells Emily that she and Sara must go see Dr. Sullivan as she was shooting her dads' gun days before. We see all the other girls dealing with their parents or loved ones as well in different ways and with flashbacks. Aria's dad (Chad Lowe) asks her about her pictures. Aria snaps at her father at one point telling him she won't ever want to talk about what happened to her and wants to just move on. Caleb is watching outside of Hanna's bedroom window noticing cops may not be keeping a close enough eye on her. Spencer has a heart to heart with Ezra and she then has flashback about being covered in blood at dollhouse. Spencer is acting like a tweaker and isn't too happy when she finds out Aria threw away her sleeping pills. No problem I guess though as Spencer just digs through Aria's trash until her gag reflex gives her an issue lol.
The girls discuss a way to get to the files from Radley that are about to be shredded. They luck out when they pretty much are just able to walk into loading dock area where boxes of files are being kept. Aria is first to locate Charles' file (Anyone noticing a pattern here? Why does it seem Aria usually one to find the clues lately? hmm I am still slightly suspicious.) and apparently Mrs. DiLaurentis and Carol Ward were only ones to have visited Charles in Radley. Carol = Ali and Jason's great aunt who died when the girls were in tenth grade. As they are exiting building with Charles' file they run smack into Caleb who found the girls because he is so worried about Hanna that he had put a tracker on her car, which he confesses later much to Hanna's annoyance. All the girls loved ones question them some more out of concern for where they had been all day. Sara is losing her shit but I can't bring myself to care as they aren't seeming to do anything with this storyline, ugh I'm so bored of it. I really just tune out during her parts in the show. It's like make her Emily's love interest or get rid of her or whatever. Either that or tell us why she is important to the story in general! Spencer continues to seek out some form of sleeping aid and figures she will just ask stoner that works for Ezra for some marijuana. Ok that's probably better then her getting hooked on prescription pills again.
They visit the DiLaurentis saga again and Jason says he fells like he's been made to feel crazy his whole life and is angry with good reason. We also find out that Jason went to try and hide out at his dead Aunt Carol's house that Mrs. D had kept running but she wouldn't let him stay there and now he realizes it's possible that it was because maybe Charles was already there. So Ali, Jason, Spencer and Hanna go to find clues at Carol's house and find a grave that says Charles. Hanna is not willing to believe this though and wants to start digging to get more proof saying how A always tries to throw them off and plant things when they get close to discovering his/her identity. But Jason points out grave not fake because of the way the roots have grown around it the grave appears to have been there for years. Hanna freaks that they seem back at square one and seems to blame Spencer for being so stuck on this Charles idea. Spencer mentions that whoever is doing this could be using Charles as an identity and that it could have been someone that knew his story from Radley. Who? Bethany? Good theory though Spencer!
Meanwhile in between all the stuff at Carol's house we see Aria developing her creepy doll photos in a dark room. When she goes to get more photo developer chemicals she find a post it note saying "You're my doll bitch -A." Say what! Aria then has her own flashback from dollhouse waking up to her hair chopped off while she was sleeping and a note saying to dye her hair or she will lose it all instead. OK then I'm pretty sure I'd rather just dye my hair then lol. At least now we know how the whole short hair thing happened. Oh shit now poor girl gets locked in to the photo studio dark room and finally exits when guy named Clark opens door and tells her whoever was in there before her put a wedge in door. He later tells Aria her photos are good and then gives her a picture of his she likes. Aria once home finally shows her dad some of her photos of her bedroom and explains dollhouse was set up same way except with no way out and finally breaks down and exhibits some emotion. Personally I am of the opinion that Spencer's flashbacks are way more horrifying. She even tells Hanna she can't recall everything Charles made her do in dollhouse and worries she may have actually harmed someone what with all that blood.
Finally Ali comes home to her father sitting in corner who explains why it was that Charles was so dangerous and had to be sent away. He tells her a story about how Charles had put an eleven month old Ali in a hot bath tub and was going to watch her drown. But instead of being horrified Ali says to let it be and let Charles rest in peace. Um seriously what the F--k!
By episodes end we see someone watching a computer with the where-abouts of all the girls and we now know he must have put a tracker in them possibly? Ew! I am not surprised though. Maybe he did it during that first episode of season six when they were all knocked out and come to under those sheets in morgue-like room.
My Bottom Line: A few theories and possible questions to my own sanity first... I'm thinking that episode a few seasons back where Mrs.D said she couldn't protect someone very much longer and then wound up dead soon after. Could that have been Charles she was referring to? Then again maybe not as it seems he was buried long ago if this episode is any indication. As we all know with Pretty Little Liars though things can get twisted and change later on. And as to the question of my sanity... I am starting to second guess myself on my Aria suspicions and her being creepy. The doll photos from last episode may possibly just be her trying to view her room differently or comparing it to the dollhouse room. I still think it seems strange though that she is only one getting notes from A this season while she is alone. Who knows maybe it doesn't mean anything but why is she the one finding clues like the picture of Jason and Charles in button jar last episode and she was first to find Radley files at warehouse place. This could just be a coincidence however and my analytical mind is just over thinking it.
