The Bachelorette: Emotions run High

**Spoilers for this weeks The Bachelorette**

Two weeks till the finale and emotions are running high as Kaitlin eliminates one of the three men left. She meets the families tonight as well...

Jumping right in we see Shawn picking back up his lecture to Nick. Highly entertaining in my opinion and I actually loved that Shawn doesn't let Nick get a word in edgewise. I also thought it weird how Nick tries to bring up Eskimo brothers thing again all to no avail. It was in past if it happened at all so who cares even if he did say he slept with some girl that had also slept with some un-named country star. However I can't help but thinking if Nick wasn't already a huge douche that Shawn may come off like a villain. But I think even with the slight jealous immaturity factor Shawn is still a good guy. Kaitlin even mentions that Nick telling her things she doesn't want to hear about Shawn is taking away some of her feelings for both Nick and Shawn. Shit maybe she will end up with no one. One can only hope.

On her date with Ben they go on horses and talk to the horses in very cheesy freakish ways. No wonder the horses seemed skittish. They then go feed donkeys, which made for some lighthearted laughter when donkeys chase them as they are walking back with the food containers. Kaitlin says Ben makes her feel calm and the two have a picnic over-looking a gorgeous castle. She says the day felt like a fairy tale. Kaitlin later tells Ben they get to stay in the castle. Holly balls that is amazing I would freak. Ben gives her a cute but cheesy speech later as per his usual, then later tells her he had a birthday during the show. He tells her he turned 26 on show and he says he didn't tell her before because he didn't want her to think age was a big deal to him. Kaitlin assures him that his age doesn't bother her. (She is 30 he is 26.) Soon they talk about spending the night together and he states that while he hates knowing that other guys are involved he still is falling in love with her and can see being with her forever. Ben then says "best sleepover ever" lol. At least there seems to be no drama with Ben. The next morning she says she only got half an hour of sleep. Hmm either she is exaggerating or I don't know, but then again the guy is 26. Kaitlin says she is more confused then ever. Ok then just pick the guy with the least drama that things are easy with. 

Back at the resort where the guys are staying she picks up Shawn for their overnight date; but first they go golfing in dorky outfits of course. Kaitlin decides to place bets on their golf game and says " If I win I get whatever I want, and if you win you get whatever you want." Great how original. It seems like Shawn is losing on purpose or instead is playing a game of 'let's see how many times I can make the ball go in the water.' After Kaitlin shockingly wins the golf game she says she wants to play truth or dare and Shawn picks a dare of streaking. What is this 6th grade? I wasn't even paying much attention to these scenes until Shawn took his clothes off! His weird long john underwear were weird but I'm not complaining. Sure it was immature and she even runs off with his clothes but I bet if their were any onlookers they'd be pretty happy to see such a fine specimen of a man. When they get to their date night part she brings up Nick and asks why Shawn doesn't like him and he basically says the same things he has been saying... Nick is not to be trusted, he's not there for the right reasons and some other bleeped expletives. Probably the way most of the people that watch this show feel about Nick. She asks Shawn why he just doesn't talk to Nick about things and he tells her that he did in fact talk to Nick and he relays what he had said to Nick earlier pretty much. She even briefly tries to bring up the elusive Eskimo brother issue and Shawn gets fired up and calls Nick names. She says in an interview during show that at the end of the day she wants a "loyal" husband. Wow a little hypocritical much! It would be a red flag to me if I were Shawn her sleeping with Nick so soon. She realizes though that she "made a mess of things" by asking Shawn about his and Nick's issues. The next morning after her and Shawn spend the night together Shawn seems kind of pissed and on his way back to his hotel runs into Nick. Who was just lurking creepily nearby. What a little weasel this guy is, Nick is so gross. Nick asks Shawn if they can talk for a few minutes but Shawn seems to not be having any of that. Shawn talks over Nick again and says how he thinks Nick is a smooth talker that just likes to hear himself speak and then Shawn tells him to get out of his room. Freaking fantastic! Thanks Shawn for not letting Nick speak, he got to do enough talking condescendingly to people between two seasons on The Bachelorette.

Chris Harrison later sits down with Kaitlin before the rose ceremony to talk about the remaining guys. She says how Nick and Shawn are acting like they are in High School which I kind of agree with. Kaitlin says she just has "to trust her heart and gut," and that the night is going to be painful. She says she knows she is going to end up "blindsiding" someone in the same way she was blindsided when Chris sent her home. Kaitlin almost falls apart during rose ceremony and has to take a few minutes to compose herself. Nick gets the first rose. Oh god I literally can't believe he gets a rose every week! Then Shawn gets a rose, so Ben is sent home. I liked Ben he was a cute cheeseball. Kaitlin laments that it sucks to be in the middle of two men that hate each other. It was so painfully awkward to watch Nick and Shawn in complete silence for what felt like forever after she walked away at the end of the night.

Now they are in Utah for her to meet the last two guys' families. This seems odd choice of location to me too. I wonder if this is the first time that they haven't taken the show to the families actual hometowns. Nick is up first and compares his seasons on the show and tells Kaitlin that he loves her and is more sure this time type of thing etc. I can barely bring myself to talk about Nick it makes me slightly nauseated. We see his family are all very worried, seeing as things didn't work out with Andi. I truly feel this guy is an even bigger dick then I originally could have believed possible for putting his family through a TV show again and making his mother and little sister cry. All the family gets to ask questions of course as per any season goes. Nick's family you can tell are just so upset and worried about him getting his heart broken again even though they liked Kaitlin. I still really hate this guy even though his family seems really nice and well-meaning.

She meets Shawn's family next and he says in an interview how if his family doesn't like Kaitlin then it won't work out for them. Oh wow this guy isn't messing around! He even says how he has been waiting to tell her he loves her until his family approves basically and that what his sisters say goes. OK, so no pressure right? If she ends up with Shawn I can't wait to see her reaction in the after show to some of this stuff lol. Alas his sisters like Kaitlin and Shawn's family that were there all are very supportive at end of visit. All's well that ends well I guess. Shawn tells Kaitlin that he loves her and has for a while now and she couldn't seem more thrilled that he tells her he loves her. But she also is crying when they show her the next day and talks about how she doesn't know how she will say good-bye to one of the guys at the end. I have a gut feeling this spells bad news for Nick or at least that is my hope.

My Bottom Line:  A few things...

1. Ben was a cute cheeseball of a guy and I will miss seeing him.

2. Shawn is hot. But you probably already know that.

3. It's not nice for an adult to make a little kid cry.

4. Kaitlin needs to try not to laugh. Period!

5. I will actually be pretty glad when this season ends.

Next week is the men tell all event and I won't cover that. I'll just be tweeting about it probably:) 

And the previews for two weeks from now looked pretty good so we shall see... Until then...
