Episode titled "No Stone Unturned" came on tonight after no episode last week and I really needed my weekly dose of PLL so I'm thrilled it was back on. I can't believe there are only three episodes left until the summer finale August 11th, then we have to wait until 2016 and the supposed time jump that they keep teasing. I am very excited for the girls to come face to face with A in a few episodes but I will be sad having to wait until the new year for new episodes after the last four episodes air this year. It is going by too fast!
Spencer and Emily pick back up on conversation about Lesli and what they think about Mona as well. Theories if you will... Spencer thinks it seems between Mona getting a gas mask in the dollhouse and getting to bring them pills when they thought they may have gotten an organ removed when they woke up under those white sheets in first episode of season that maybe Mona is not so innocent. I however don't suspect Mona of too much because why would she have put herself in a hole. Come on now! They think that Lesli assumes that the girls killed Bethany and maybe her and Lesli were freinds seeing as they were in Radley together and that is her motive. I guess we will see. Spencer and Hanna want to do some sleuthing in Philly and follow Lesli. They are starting to get even more desperate to find A and it shows in their behavior and panic.
At DiLaurentis house Mr. D finds a Birthday card on his car and yells at Emily when she pulls up on her bike if she has seen anyone around the house. He was acting very agressive which was odd I thought so whatever was in card must have really spooked him. It seems like someone may still be out to get the DiLaurentis family.
Aria- here is a run down of what is going on with Aria this epi...
Clarke realizes she took negatives but isn't mad and just assumes she stole photos from lab because she didn't want him having pics of her. She doesn't correct him. Aria and Em later go to the junkyard where Aria got photo of girl in black hoodie they assume is A. But Em gets a call from Ezra saying an old freind from her habitat for humanity days is looking for her. Em leaves and Clarke offers to take Aria home, but not before she finds a possible Ali doll and a doll of herself with pink hair and a pin in one of her eyes. Eeek super creepy! After she's home and Ezra swings by later he sees the doll and she lies and tells Ezra she made it herself. Aria is going to find herself with no Ezra pretty soon which sucks. In the final scenes we see Aria go to see Ezra finally but he is sitting with Emily's old friend and so Aria leaves.
Spencer: Spencer has been really on my nerves lately whining about being the valedictorian and possible recurring drug issues. Her old drug counselor keeps popping back up and is being a real tool saying things like he can't be around her because he wants to kiss her and doesn't care that she has a boyfriend. Wow, what a winner this Dean guy is. Spencer heads to go meet Hanna in Philly to investigate Lesli. Spencer later asks Sara if she has been asked to speak about what happened to her in dollhouse, and Sara tells her she would speak about it if she could explain how she felt. At last Spencer moment of episode we see she is at AA meeting.
Hanna: Hanna as always has a ton of great one liners this episode. Hanna gets to put on an act (which she does amazingly) trying to get a valet in Philly to give her keys to Lesli's car. When Hanna and Spencer look in the car we see Lesli has tons of fake pairs of glasses and four large animal cages that the girls assume are meant for them. Hanna seems to still be pushing Caleb away and he tells Hanna's mother he's afriad he is losing her. Fear not Haleb shippers they end up making out later on because we all know Caleb never gives up on Hanna. This is the episode they realize they have trackers in them as well and are obviously freaked and pissed about it. They say they need to find some solid proof to give to the cops regarding A though, and Hanna says "Why don't we just hand over our heads?" LOL. Hanna at one point even lets animals out of their lab cages after she experiences a flashback from dollhouse. Hanna doesn't want A to cage anything anymore too bad she didn't realize the animals have been given some type of speed.
Mona: Just as Hanna had let animals out and the girls give them cheetos so they don't get attacked Mona shuts lights out and then appears! Mona lectures the girls on all things A and tells them how naive they all are basically. Mona tells them Lesli is only trying to pretend to be sane and that she wasn't friends with Bethany. In fact she hated Bethany. So if they believe Mona that's no longer a theory for Lesli's motives. Mona continues to tell them that Bethany and Charles escaped from Radley the night Ali went missing and that Charles couldn't have been an organ donor due to his meds. So it is very likely Charles is alive and out there somewhere it would seem, now I just want to know more about Bethany.
Emily: Another horrible storyline continues. Ugh I really don't like what they have done with Emily's character so far this season and the whole Sara Harvey thing. So a few things even though it was a pretty boring go of it for Em this episode. She seems to get awkward around Sara when she changes her clothes and is obviously developing feelings for her. I'm not sure why though because Sara just seems like a feral cat at times. Emily also sees an old friend from her past that wants her to sign up again to go to Thailand to build houses for Habitat for Humanity. Em thinks about going to escape A and Rosewood until she realizes she should probably keep babysiting Sara as it helps her to forget her own problems. Em later tries to check Sara for a neck tracker too but then thay make out in her bed instead. Yep I saw that one coming.
Sara: There was a bit more depth to this character this episode so I guess she will give Sara her own subheader for this write up lol. Sara gets back to her tech job with Caleb and they discuss her not knowing who Kimye is of all things. Caleb tells her not to worry and that they don't matter. Ha ha. Sara also asks him who Ali is and wonders if Ali knows who is reponsible for holding them in dollhouse. Em confides in her about Thailand trip after Sara gets scuffed by a car that they think is Lesli's, unless Sara is lying. Now Em really seems to want to get Sara to a safe place but Sara screams at Em that her mother would never let her leave the country. Um OK this whole Sara thing is still very odd to me I hope she either goes away or ends up meaning more to the storyline and not just as a new love interest for Em. Maybe she will end up being Bethany.
So the girls theories seem to be that Lesli was just a "speed bump" along the way to find Charles. But they seemed so willing to believe Charles was dead and now to believe he's alive from Mona's opinion. Hmm I'm not sold yet. Unless they knew about what Mr. D's B-day card said which I don't think they do.
Mr.D is burying a card it seems at the end of the episode with someone obviously watching him that says;
Dear Daddy,
Coming home for my Bithday. You should plan a party. To die for. Just you.
Love,
Charles
My Bottom Line: First off this was a better episode then the one before it I thought. I knew Lesli was most likely not A and that A was most likely not a girl either. I agree with what Mona said about A just wanting them to think something to throw them off type of thing. I had a feeling Charles would still play a big part in all this and was probably not dead. I think the girls should really let their loved ones in more especially since they saved them from the dollhouse. A few other things that irked me a bit about the episode were; why wouldn't the girls just ponder cutting these trackers out of their necks. If they were more crearive and cunning like they think they are you would think that would cross their minds. Also the way Mr.D was burying the card was strange. Why not burn it or rip it up? Those are just a few things I have on my mind moving forward.
What did you think of episode? Any new PLL theories?
